How about, ... we come up with some realistic things to expect as a beginner thinking about rolling. Like, time, money or methods?

I like the rolling test video thing. I had to try it. though, I added news paper as filler instead. It feels more like tobacco to me.

Another thing when I started; I really wanted to wrap some cigars so, I got a cheap bundle and some fronto leaf to wrap them with. Also, I would removed wrappers then reapplied them. I brought it as far as to deconstructing, then reconstructing them by dampening the cigar so it could taken apart without tearing the leaves.
    tobacco .. roll with it

Definitely a helpful video. I don't remove the mid ribs though. I heard the guy from JDN mention in one of their Cigar Safari videos that they're supposed to help give the cigar structure and better combustion.

Glad to send you a few - I roll about a batch or two a month. Basically the same blends as before, slight differences.

Rolled a few more Eastern Standard "clones" earlier. Should be ready to wrap later tonight.
