    The Pipegar Ashtray

    A friend and fellow turner gave me this beautiful blank of spalted Eucalyptus.



    I resisted the urge to make it round and instead made the ash portion in the shape of a Germain's Plum Cake tin. I then honored that shape in the pipe and cigar rest portion.



    Put a slight reverse bevel on her, buffed, oiled and waxed and called her good.
