I may need to drill 1/2'' holes to fit some of my saddle bits...but yeah. Should be interesting to see how it turns out!
For only 7 bucks, I can't really go wrong!
That's where I got the one I made for my cobs. I like me some Hobby Lobby (yes, I said that), but I hate going with my wife because I can never make it out of the yarn section

You and me both brother! Hobby Lobby rules
I hate going with my wife too, but not because of the yarn, more so because of how much lighter my wallet feels after we leave...

Life's to Short
Nice Rack---or Racks I should say...great idea!

Operation Ghetto Pipe Rack is in full swing!
Next up I'll sand and paint and or stain, haven't decided yet.
And yes...that is a pretty Disney fairy pencil. What a real man uses.

Behold, y'all, the latest version:
Maple 1x6, 4.5" legs, a little over 2' wide, 39 3/4" holes. I'm going to pick up some light stain tomorrow, following the application and drying of which I'll coat it with semi-gloss 'thane.
I'll probably glue some felt to the bottom of the legs to minimize the effupitude of the furniture

I have more than what's pictured there! Haha.
My plan is to use this hanging rack for my main stable and rotation of smokers. Pipes that I'll reach for and smoke within a 1 or 2 week period.
Maybe I'll put together a table top version like yours to put the ones I smoke less often in. Or maybe one for my project/for sale pipes.
