To those that make their own pipes: Would a dremel work for this? I happen to have a decent dremel just need bits.

I was never able to do much with a dremel but there are people who use them and it works for them. I cannot provide any pointers though.

Thank you, I liked it too. I am a collector so it really sucks to sell em lol. But thats what its about......I guess. My wife sure likes it when I sell one.

My first attempt for a contest I hosted elsewhere. The pipe smokes amazingly well - as good as my higher end pipes, and was just a pre-drilled block as has been suggested.

Excellent job, especially for your first pipe. Justified that it's a smoker.
Briar kits, especially if they have burl, aren't a standard saw mill product so they're often cut from more desirable briar than that used by machine makers.
