    I was never good with wood either. I just kept at it til my hands could do what my brain wanted. There were 10 just horrible not even pipes before one even resembled a pipe. Then about 5 that were marginal after 15 or so they started to look pretty good.

So getting one of the pre drilled blocks takes care of that. Some hand files and sand paper takes care of the rest. Just take your time and keep it simple like a straight billiard and you should do all right.

    Yeahhhh I'm looking at some Norse pipe "kits" already have most of the equipment and finishing supplies, can make any tooling I need. Wife is like oh hell... but she smokes a pipe too thanks to Rob.
