    Opus X No.5 are STRONG!

I tend to favor medium-full, spicy cigars and absolutely love Opus X from Robusto to No. 2. I bought some smaller No. 5 for short smokes in cold weather this winter and man, are these little things powerful! Anybody else notice this?

I didn't really notice it being too strong, but I had a few adult beverages with it and may not have noticed. I still have one left from the holidays that I have been thinking about committing arson on......

They can be pretty powerful, especially when young IMO. How old are they?

When I find them for a reasonable price and can load up, I usually try to let Opus chill out for a year (or more) as a minimum. I'm not saying it ends up working out that way but that's the goal. I like them fresh too but, personally, I think 2 years in the humidor and they are exceptional.

Yeah, those little guys do pack a punch. I have a box (about half full) with a few years of age on them. Haven't had one in a while though. Lately I've had more time for longer smokes.

Is the No. 5 the same as the Power Ranger?
If so, I didn't find it to be strong, but I do love this cigar!!!
It was the 1st Opus I had the privilege of smoking.

No, the Opus X xXx is the Power Ranger., the No. 5 is a petite corona.
