Current Experiences With CigarsInternational?

Hi folks,
I know that many use them, and they are listed on Tim's sticky, but I have a reason for asking about recent experiences. I am not trying to bash them or any other online vendor, just trying to get the facts before I hit checkout.

As a pipe smoker also, I have used P&C (pipesandcigars) for a long time as one of my preferred vendors I also had read a while back that CI now owns P&C. Several months back P&C started having some serious issues due to a new computer system being implemented (iirc it was a computer system issue) which caused MANY headaches and some extremely long wait times on orders. Some orders taking weeks to go through, some not being filled completely, some misplaced, etc... I had taken a break from them and was using some other trusted vendors, so I was not affected by the problem. I have heard here and there that theses issues are now cleared up.

So now that I made a simple question into story time, I will get to the point.

Have any of you that use CI regularly had any recent issues (I am not sure if they had the same problem P&C did is why I am even asking) or are things good to go and safe to place orders with them?

Haven't used them in a couple months, but never had a problem. It does take a week to get my order.....

My only worry as I stated above was that since they own P&C they may have had a similar issues as they did. I have been using Famous for the most part for all cigar purchases, but there are some that they just don't carry or are out of when I am ready to buy.

I feel more comfortable knowing that some people have used them recently without problem.

I ordered from them last month and received everything on time.

They seem to be cleared up. P&C and CI are for all purposes the same. I hit up their B&Ms on a rgular basis and the crew there says the storm had past. I would order without worry.

If you have any issues with an order then I'd use another source. CI has a big wall to climb over in winning back their customers. I hope they don't repeat what happened so I'd like to see them become successful once again.
