RP Edge
Does anyone know the difference between The Edge & The Edge Fumas?
I've heard that The Edge Habano is a nice smoke and CI is having a sale on The Edge Fumas which has a habano and the descriptions sound the same.
Help a Brother out!! What's the difference?

Don't know the difference but have been smoking the Edge for years. Always a great smoke and I think often overlooked as
a go to cigar. They age really well from my experience.
Couple of things I've learned. I like good Bourbon and hate wet toilet paper.

No idea if this is the case here, but frequently "Fumas" is stuck on short or mixed filler cigars. As many Edges as they sell, the Fumas may be the trimmings.

Fumas are the trimmings - mixed filler, Cuban sandwich, aka cheapie. Stick with the regular Edges.
My personal fave is the Edge Habano but I must say I haven't met an edge I didn't like
You oughta know not to stand by the window, somebody see you up there.

Thanks!
I would have been pissed if I bought the fumas and they sucked after hearing how good The Edge is.

Exactly! I have smoked a boatload of RP Edge over the years ( maduro toros ) and while the fumas may be a bit less expensive the quality is not the same. I keep a fresh box on deck with about a year or rest on them and even with the slight brown stain that often accompanies this cigar I still love em.

Wow, Someone Knows Me
If I'm going Rocky, I'm going Edge or Decade. The rest, IMHO, have been VERY disappointing endeavors.
Mr. Simpson, don't you worry. I saw an episode of Matlock in a bar last night. The sound was down, but I think I got the gist of it.

I understand that the edge is 'dyed' for consistency of color. I suspect the fumas is similar, and that puts me off a little as it tends to stain my lips.
