Organically Grown Flake - The drawn out smoke

So last week, @Tobias Lutz sent me a bomblet of McClelland OGF.
Monday or Tuesday of this week, I loaded up a bowl in a nice Barling 5574 Canadian sent to me a while back by @NeverBend .
It's a pretty deep bowl. I used the the roll and stuff method that @commonsenseman detailed recently.

At first light, I got a good blast of the sweet/sour Virgina flavor that I so enjoy. Once it settled down, I noticed mainly sweet and fruity, citrous flavors with an underlying floral background and just a bit of pepper. The sour progressively faded but was still there throughout. As the bowl progressed, the floral came more to the forefront and 'fruity' moved to the background. The pepper was like a white pepper and was just present on the retro the whole time. Nic strength I would have placed at 'mild' at this time. I enjoyed this for a while but my lunch-hour delivery run came to an end and I shelfed the pipe - now about half full - and went back to work.

    Fast forward to today (Thursday)
I retrieved the pipe and headed out for lunch, lighting the same, remaining dregs back up on the way.
This became an interesting smoke at this point. I paired this with a sweet, cold coffee drink.

Upon initial re-light I got a rather uni-dimensional black pepper bomb. (I find this pretty standard with cold, previously smoked baccy) After about 5 minutes or so, this became a rather sweet pepper with a slight floral undertone. Soon the pepper died out completely and was replaced by a sweet, dry hay flavor with the floral note building more as I went along. Hints of pepper - now like white pepper - came and went and as the smoke progressed, then after a while, the floral note faded way into the background with mostly a sweet and dry hay flavor remaining. Nic strength now was building more toward the 'full' end of the spectrum. I was glad the coffee had some sugar in it at this point as I was getting a bit dizzy. The flavor became fixed at slightly sweet, dry hay, just a touch floral and no fruit that I noticed. The sour never did come back. Now lunch is over and the pipe is back on the shelf. I still have a bit left in the bottom; this was a very slow-burning tobacco at this point. It burned very well - I only had to relight once this time around.

Maybe we'll see where it goes tomorrow or next week

Boy, this is my most popular thread ever; zero replies!

Ok, for anyone who cares, today is Friday and I've just managed to wring another 15 minutes out of this bowl.
First light tasted of hardwood. It's the smell you get when you dig into a bag of hardwood shavings and sprinkle them out on the floor to soak up a puddle of oil. It tasted just like those shavings smell. After a minute, the black pepper bomb returned as expected and hung around for half the smoke. It did fade out again, to be replaced by the hardwood flavor, eventually picking up a floral note that seemed to grow. However, the predominant flavor remained hardwood. I was starting to enjoy this when the pipe went out. It wouldn't relight. It was empty. About a week on one bowl of baccy. Not bad.

    The end.

    I love your patience, friend.

I struggle making a smoke last more than 45 minutes...

I may have to experiment with this one day though, seems like you were able to draw out some really interesting flavors!
