Another well constructed Tatuaje cigar, very firm feel to it and a nice weight to the cigar. There were a few veins throughout the wrapper other than that nothing to really point out.
The first few puffs from this cigar were immediately filled with the Tatuaje pepper I have come to love. The first half of inch or so brought nothing but pepper which I don't mind at all but just putting it out there so others know what to expect.
The burn was a bit uneven at this point but it quickly fixed itself without a touch-up. As I progressed into the cigar the pepper mellowed out and brought in some nice dark coffee flavors along with a subtle earthy tone. The spice hung around through the first third.
The second third of the cigar mellowed out significantly, the pepper stuck around but it was much more smooth. The earthy tones hung around and this was probably my favorite part of the cigar. The smoke picked up significantly during the second third and we are rolling!
As we get into the last third the pepper, spice and earthy tones are still hanging around. You can certainly taste pepper throughout but the others flavors round it out quite nicely...this is another great offering by Tatuaje.
The draw on this cigar was just about perfect, no burn issues aside from the slight uneven burn I experienced in the beginning which corrected itself promptly. I am quite happy with the Tatuaje cigars I have tried so far, they were all well constructed and produced nice smoke, this one was no exception...and here we go into the nub!
Well folks I would highly recommend this cigar, it was a fantastic full bodied cigar with very nice flavors to complement the pepper, spice.
I hope you enjoyed this review and if you can get your hands on a few I certainly recommend them
