I have a silver rimmed analog hygrometer coming that's going to be mounted in the bottom drawer and then a hygroset that will be, most likely, on top of the X shelf. Just to decide what I want for drawer pulls. The wife thinks silver/chrome and I think something dark like a brushed nickel or black... sigh... third world problems right?

Hey Blake, I wouldn't coat the fronts with anything. They look great, and should be ok in the stable environment. Brushed nickel or stainless hdwe (JMO).
I really like your work, especially the "X" shelf. Original work, all yours, and you should be very proud. Now the other reason for my response......I remember when you first joined......I think you had an old pipe, maybe a cob, and an acrylic lock top jaridor for your handful of sticks.....now you're on the Canadian Men's Downhill Team bwaahaahaahaahaa. Drawers & shelves being filled, boxes on order, yeaaaahhhh!!!! You go brother, way to hit that damn slope.
