Nightcap

So I’ve been acquiring Dunhill tobacco as of late and want to buy another 5 or so Tins of Nightcap.
I found a vendor advertising “original” nightcap which is a different looking tin and more expensive. Does anyone know when this might be from? Was there a year that nightcap was re released in the US? Help is appreciated as I want to procure some of this asap if it’s potentially any good and aged.

I like Nightcap. I've only ever had the current version. I think from reading somewhere that there were two previous versions... not sure though but from reviews I've read it seems they're all pretty good copies of the original. At any rate, I like the present version just fine. I wouldn't pay a nickel extra for any 'vintage' tins as I'm sure I wouldn't be able to taste the difference anyway... and who cares if I could anyway since once they were gone I couldn't buy more of the same anyway.

This makes the best sense to me also, if your going to stock up
stock up something you can get alot of. I'ld
like to hear the opinions on bulk Nightcap vs tinned.
