i have read a bunch of your posts these last few months and knowing you are cautious of the Opus xXx due to strength, would you say you prefer medium strength cigars? If so, 858's and Magnum R might be a good range to explore. I especially like the Rosado Sun Grown in the 858 and Mag R. Short Story are also excellent in Maduro or Natural that I would consider Med/Full. Any Hemingway in your preferred size are good and worth trying.
Anejo and most Opus X I would consider Med/Full Full. All Anejos are good and should be tried, with the 46's, 888's and Sharks being my favorites. I don't think I have had an Opus I didn't enjoy with xXx, 4's, 5's, Love Affair, Petit Lanceros and Robusto being my preferred sizes. Angel Shares and Oscuro Oro are a little milder than regular Opus and I would say they are my favorites. Anejos and Opus age very well, but the Opus especially tend to be expensive for something you are setting fire to. But if you can get them near or at MSRP, they are worth buying IMO, but can be difficult to find most times of the year due to limited shipments, usually twice a year.
I don't think I have ever smoked a Fuente cigar that I didn't think was good. Their tobacco just taste like what cigar tobacco is supposed to. And their construction very rarely isn't good.
I consider myself a Fuente slut, but by no means near an expert. If I was to suggest a good starting point, it would be Hemingways, 858's and Magnum R.
I will pass this along to
