Not a full review, just some thoughts on a blend I smoked for the first time in a while.
I remember loving Irish Flake but haven't had any for a few years. Stopped by a local tobacco shop (not a pipe and cigar shop, but one that specialized in cigs and vapes) that I know carries some tinned tobacco. They had it so I grabbed one.

The blend is burley, Kentucky, and Virginia.
It's obviously a flake and they're thick like jerky.
Moisture wasn't too bad, but I rubbed it out and let it dry for about 20 minutes before packing a pipe.
Tin note is very strong with notes of smoky BBQ and stewed fruit.

It tastes just like it smells. So good.
Slightly sweet but not overly so with a spicy BBQ flavor. It's earthy and very smoky.
The Virginias play a small role in my opinion with the Kentucky and Burley leading the way.
I have heard some folks say they taste a floral note, but I do not get that at all, even when looking for it.

It is a very strong tobacco both in flavor and nicotine. Not an all day smoke, but such a wonderful ending to an evening.
Five out of five stars.
