Lane knows how to make aromatics and this is one of the best they make. It has an attractive appearance with a good contrast of colors of the leaf. The cut is mixed with some short wide ribbon pieces and some smaller irregular pieces as well. It is a bit moist out of the bag, but not goopy. Some air-drying time will benefit the smoking characteristics of this blend. The aroma is pleasant, both from the bag and in the room. RLP-6 packs easily into the bowl and lights without effort. It stays lit fairly easily even when smoked moist as in right out of the bag. The flavor stays consistently enjoyable throughout the bowl; a nice, rich, creamy, sweet vanilla taste. It does not degrade as one smokes down the bowl. I smoked it in a chubby Comoy's Guildhall billiard with a modest cake.
