I smoked three bowls of this tobacco in three different pipes; I enjoyed this tobacco but got bite each time. It is tasty once you get the bowl going good, but it seems like it has a little casing. Maybe it's just me but I felt like I needed to puff more to get good body and flavor from it and when I did I got a little bite. Straight Virginia is what the description states and I believe it but there is something about it that I can't put my finger on. It is good but not as good as some other straight Virginia blends that I've tried. This was a gift from a CigarBum.com buddy and I will finish what I've got but won't buy any more.

I agree, this stuff bites me & I've had better VA's. I smoked a tin & never bought any more. It's not bad, there are just better ones.

The way I figure, why mess around when there's SG FVF on the market in 250g boxes?
Although I shamelessly admit to stockpiling a bunch of Newminster 400... because it's... cheaper!
