    Great review. If there's one tobacco I've had that's a cigar in a pipe, it's Dark Birdseye. I never detected any topping on it. For me it was a straight-forward...BAM! I'm tobacco and you love me for it kind of smoke. I really enjoyed it. Thanks for the review, Branzig.

    The topping is extremely light. Hardly noticeable and with age goes away completely. However, I still have detected it so I decided to add it in the review. I have also noticed that in certain batches the topping is much more noticeable than in others....which isn't that odd when dealing with GH&Co. They have so much lakeland snot on their machinery that some is bound to end up on all their products here or there

    Makes sense because I think most of the snot is on the cutting tools, ropes are only cut at the ends.
