Ok folks, at long last, here is this month's TOTM! Smoke it if you got it. If you don't got it...well...this would be a great excuse to fire up the computer, dust off the credit card, and order a tin or three!

Escudo Navy De Luxe - A combination of full bodied Virginia from North Carolina and Virginia blended with Perique from Louisiana are the cornerstones in Escudo. The blend is pressed and matured before it is spun and cut into coins. This process ensures the unique character of Escudo.

Here's my review:

Escudo is one of the best VA/Pers ever made. Medium bodied Virgina, with a nice grassy-ness, offset perfectly by just the right amount of fruity (and ever so slightly spicy) Perique. The coin form makes it easy to break up, or to fold a couple coins in quarters & fold-n-stuff.

Buy some - smoke some!
