Well, it's not my favorite tobacco but it does hold a special place with me because as a pipe noob I did what many people did and started off trying aromatics.
It didn't go well at first because I was trying goopy cavendish blends and I was introduced to many new tobaccos via the noob pipe tobacco sampler trade.
I was darn near ready to give up on pipes when I tried OGS. Now as my palate has adjusted I prefer more full flavored blends most of the time. But I still pack a bowl of it now and then, especially on days off when I have a pipe early in the day. That seems to be the sweet spot for it.
But hey, taste is a subjective thing. If we all liked the same things, there wouldn't be nearly as many options to choose from.
Yes I know I have a long way to go. Smoked 1 blend back 25 years ago when I was into pipes more than cigars. Surprised to see so many different options out there now. But learning alot from you piper Bums here. Thanks for the info Paul.
