Our friend @AlanS and I had been chatting a bit recently about the church that he worked at and belonged to, because he too is a Methodist. As some of you know, I recently became licensed and commissioned as a pastor in the UMC, and so I was extremely excited to find a package from Alan on my doorstep that contained a beautiful print of John Wesley (Methodism's founder) in a nice walnut frame, dating back to the late 19th, or early 20th, century. The photo isn't great because I used my phone...
This is already hanging in my office at the church. It is much appreciated, Alan... even if the package contained no tobaccoWesley was anti-smoking anyhow.
