Wrapper is toothy and dark, and smells of nose-tingling black pepper, earth, spice and tobacco. Foot gives faint notes of black pepper, toast and tobacco. Cold draw is black pepper, coffee and deep earth.
First third: tastes of cedar, black pepper and toast. Aromas are heavy and rich, black pepper, leather and spice (cinnamon-ish).
Second third: tastes of coffee, cedar, nuts, leather and a hint of jerky (yes!). Aromas of leather, spice and cedar.
Final third: this thing is awesomely complex! Tastes of leather, cocoa, cedar, spice, nuts, black cherry and coffee. Aromas of leather, spice, cedar, cinnamon and cocoa.
Final thoughts: this was an awesome stick in the final third, and it was already really good beforehand.
