Full-bodied and a bomb of dark black peppery spice in the initial puffs.

The black peppery spice tastes good and gives both the nose and mouth a lot of sensation throughout. Not sharp pepper - it slices the nose and heat builds up quickly in the mouth, and it's leaves a nice residual sensation lingering in both.

Along with the pepper: there were thoughts of soy sauce, meat, a mealy grains texture/taste, leather, and bittersweet chocolate, and dark coffee.

Nub-ability: Finger-burning

Judgement:

Loved it. It's a right-up-my-alley kinda smoke and well within my preferred wheelhouse of pepper-bomb-done-right kinda smokes. Another great Diesel, and another yearly TAA I will not miss. Recommended.
