Torano Dominican Selection Burn time : 1hr 5 min

Wrapper : Ecuador Connecticut

Filler : DR long fillers (?)

Body : Light Medium Strength : Light

Prelight : Very light colored wrapper, tight seams, and a semi firm pack. Feels light in the hand, light tobacco aroma.

1/3 : Starts off with smoke output on the low side, but good taste. Light in body and has very thin smoke, so not much of a mouth feel on this one. I get nuttiness, some tobacco and cedar once in a while. The draw is very poor, and I have to manually work the stick a bit to get it to loosen up. It may have helped slightly, the draw continues to be poor throughout this stick.

2/3-3/3 : I put this cigar down with over an inch to go. I kept having to baby it continuously, it needed a double puff if I was to get a good amount of smoke. Surprisingly the burn line was straight...go figure. No flavor changes at all. Really a boring stick. Light cedar and light nuttiness is how this cigar finishes. Was a bit of a chore smoking this one past the half-hour mark, to be honest.

Overall : It is a $3 stick, but there are better sticks out there at this price point. Shitty draw, and really boring flavors made for a poor cigar experience for me. I'd go elsewhere for my cheap cigars.
