1st Third - Rich chocolate fudge-like character, pepper, coffee, and woody. Retrohale is peppery and earthy. Medium-full body, medium strength.
2nd Third - The pepper dies down a lot and the profile sweetens up still supported by chocolate, coffee, cedar, broadleaf earthiness, and sweet spice in the finish. Retrohale is pepper, oak, and slightly nutty, . Meduim-full body, medium strength.
Final Third - The cocoa and sweet spice kind of take the lead here but the supporting flavors stay the same. Retrohale is still spicy and earthy. Medium-full body, and just barely over medium strength.
Construction - Easy draw, good smoke production, slightly wavy burn, ash isn't flakey but doesn't hold long.
Overall - A rich cigar with nice flavor transitions, good balance, and a long finish.
