Pre light aroma - Earthy, nutty, light cedar

Cold Draw - Peppery, earthy

Appearance - wrapper has very little oil, almost no tooth, noticeable veins, uniform chocolate brown.

Light - Nice kick of pepper you come to expect from Tatuaje. Some underlying sweetness. Dark fruit.

1st Third - Resting smoke has an interesting and enjoyable floral quality. Peppery, nutty, sweet spices, tobacco, woodsy. Med-full strength and body. Retrohale is spicy with some supporting sweet spices. The pepper stands out then kind of mellows out and hangs into the finish.

2nd Third - Pepper and strength ramp up and the supporting sweetness becomes chocolatey. Sweet spices turn down some and are replaced by medium strength spanish cedar presence in the profile. Mostly pairing with the pepper and playing off the chocolate sweetness, especially in the finish. Retrohale is mostly pepper with a little cedar and some supporting sweet spices. Body med-full with a nice creamy texture.

3rd Third - Strength and body both continue to pick up and are both in the full range now. Pepper really amps up standing out in the back of the throat holding through the finish. A bit more spanish cedar character up front. Still supported by a nice underlying nutty cocoa sweetness.

Construction - Nice even burn from start to finish, solid smoke production, easy draw.

Overall - Flavors don't change too much but whats there is really nice. As well, the balance of flavors bounces around keeping things interesting. Nice smoke.
