Pre Light - Barnyard, leather, spicy
Cold Draw - Sweet tobacco, spicy, earthy
Appearance - Chocolate brown, slightly oily, smooth with little to no tooth, noticeable veins
Light - Classic Tatuaje blast of pepper right off the bat. A little earthy and dry with some sweet notes in the finish.
1st Half - The cigar sweetens up replacing most of the earthiness and the body gets creamier. Cocoa, pepper, some oak, and a syrupy sweetness thats hard to describe. Nice aroma that goes back and forth from floral to straw-like. Retrohale is very peppery. Body is a med-full but strength is full.
2nd Half - The earthiness slowly creeps back up joined by a bit of coffee, sweet spice, pecans, and occasional dark fruit notes. Retrohale is still very peppery but has a little sweetness. The profile, body, and strength otherwise stays the same.
Construction - Unfortunately the stick was a bit plugged but I still got solid smoke production. Even burn, sturdy ash.
Overall - The character of this cigar is a great example of what I think of when I think of a Tatuaje.
