These were pretty much smoked ROTT, without any real tuppie-time on them.

Of the nine that I smoked, there was a consistent theme among them - inconsistency. Some had a good draw; with some the draw as ok, but a bit too tight; and with a few, they were unsmokable due to being over-filled or plugged. Taste-wise, they were fairly inconsistent but were ballpark in notes. The main notes were a golden tobacco flavor that was pretty good. I wouldn't say these are creamy. Mild, but not boringly mild. A bit or spice in there at times, more-so when I had a good one. With some, the flavor spectrum was easily noticable on normal retrohales; some the retrohales had to be done very slowly for some decent flavors to come through. All-in-all, some were much better than others.

Construction-wise these were nice. Pretty sure all burned straight. I'm also fairly certain some were more somewhat-wet, as the tobacco took a bit longer to ignite initially, required stronger than normal pulls, and some needed to be smoked quicker than normal. To me, all signs of needing to sit longer in my 62% tuppie.

I think price is a major factor to think of, here. I paid less than $20 for a ten pack, not including shipping and tax. These were a great value for the price, and they are also budget-bundle-tier due to the price but not with the quality. Just like with flavors and strengths of cigars, I believe there's a spectrum of cigar enthusiasts out there. With me, especially more-so lately, I need something tossable at a moment's notice, something pretty good, and something inexpensive. I think with that in mind, Tabacalera Aragon nailed it. If I have a kid crying - the cigar is getting tossed, and I lost...maybe $2. If the wife comes out and gives me the hint to wrap it up - the cigar is tossed without concern to it's cost or it's availability. If I get a plugged cigar and it's being a fucking pain in the ass - I simply toss (or save to send to Tony), grab other, and enjoy. It really is care-free option for me, and I come out on top.

Overall, I enjoyed them and will be ordering a 20 pack to throw in the tuppie. Hopefully I can let them rest for a good month or so before digging in. I can't really fault these Tabacalera Aragon CTs (TACTs) because they didn't get time to sit and acclimate down, and when they were good, they were definitely hitting above their ~$2 price.
