Mexican San Andres wrapper

I piared the satin glove with a glass of Crown Royal. The satin glove has a dark slightly toothy wrapper and is box pressed. The foot smells of earth leather and hay. And by hay I mean like walking into a barn hay. I loved the smell. On the cold draw I got earth chocolate and coffee.

The crown was a nice pair but I knew this was going to be a long smoke so I switched over to Samuel Adam's Summer Ale. The first third had a smooth rich and creamy chocolate and coffee on the inhale with a sweet but spicy exhale. The retrohale was pepper with a touch of the barn hay. The burn line was perfect and the smoke output was perfect.

I'm really enjoying the stick at this point and I think the Mexican San Andreas wrapper has a lot to do with that. The second third took a change. A rich earth flavor engulfs my mouth and the barn hay with a touch of cedar moves to the exhale. The retrohale becomes a spicy pepper. Still no burn issues especially for its size.

I move into the last third and leather washes of the earth but dose not over take the flavor. A sweet but spicy pepper mixes into the flavor and the barn hay is still on the exhale. At this point I have fully enjoyed the satin glove and move on to smoke the nub

The sweet but spicey pepper takes over with a small touch of cedar on the exhale. I enjoyed this cigar more than I expected too. I'm not big on the churchill size and thought I would have some burn issues with this size and guage combo but didn't. Before smoking this I didn't know it had a Mexican San Andres wrapper which most of my favorite sticks do. Overall this was a very tasty stick and came in at a 2 hour and 40 min smoke which was perfect for a day of relaxing at the cabin. The time length of this smoke would be the only downfall I would give it
