    Rocky Patel Decade

courtesy of @zeebee , thanks man.

Rocky Patel Decade Robusto Burn Time : 1hr 15min

    Wrapper : Sumatra

Prelight : Very nice looking stick. Has a perfect dark chocolate wrapper, box pressed with a light hay aroma. Dense pack, feels great in the hand.

1/3 : Starts off a pepper and spice bomb. As we go along chocolate comes in and the spice fades a bit. Pepper eventually also goes in this third, but a slight spice stays on. Dark chocolate/espresso is what I'm getting mostly. Burn goes wavy on me a few times already this third...

2/3 : Draw opens up now and the smoke is smooth, thick with a nice mouth feel. It's a solid medium body at this point. Flavor profile stays the same but a toasted nutty finish is added.

3/3 : The burn needs attention from me, I have a feeling somethings up with the way my stick was rolled. Don't think it can be a storage issue as all my other recent smokes have been fine. I know these are great premium cigars, but the construction on this one left something to be desired. I don't pay attention for a few minutes and it goes out on me twice, and the burn is constantly wavy and requiring relights. That said, the flavors are enjoyable. Still has the spice, toasted nut on the finish and some chocolate is still there. Relatively consistent cigar. With around 1.5" left the cigar gets stiff and crispy behind the cherry and goes out on me easily if neglected.

Overall : Not a bad stick at all but I'll have to try another one to see if I got a poorly rolled one as I enjoyed the flavors. I held off rating this one in my journal till I try another one of these.

Nice review Artem! I really enjoyed this cigar, enough so that I picked up more. Definitely give it another go as it sounds like you just got a problem child.

Nice review. Sorry to see you had some burn issues. I've always had pretty good luck with these!
