Pre Light - Hay, toasty, woody
Cold Draw - Woody, barnyard
Appearance - Golden brown color, slightly oily, smooth texture, little to no tooth. Some noticeable veins.
Light - Hay, cedar, pepper, sweet spice
1st Third - Creamy, woody, sweet spice, vanilla, barnyard, with a malty sweetness in the finish. Retrohale is peppery and woody. Body is a heavy medium but strength is a touch under medium.
2nd Third - The earthy woodsy notes mellow out letting the creamy sweet flavors take the lead. Retrohale is woody and peppery with a bit of the malty sweetness creeping in. Med-full body, medium strength.
Final Third - The profile doesn't change much though it does pick up a subtle milk chocolate note that goes nicely with the cigars creaminess. Retrohale is still peppery and woody. Med-full body, medium strength.
Construction - Easy draw, good smoke production, burn is even but a little wavy, ash is slightly flakey but holds to an inch or so.
Overall - Creamy smooth and flavorful with a lot of nuance. I know a lot of people have taken notice of this brand but with cigars as good as this its amazing everyone and their mother isn't raving about Reinado. If you've yet to smoke a Reinado then its about time you get yourself acquainted!
