The wrapper on this cigar is quite smooth, no noticeable flaws in the wrapper and almost non-existent veins...this is certainly a well constructed cigar.
The first few draws from this cigar bring out a nice leather flavor which I am starting to really enjoy in my cigars. As we get into the first half inch or so of this cigar I am beginning to pick up a faint spice to the cigar which was not expected but it was certainly welcomed.
As we are rounding out the first third of the cigar I am picking up a nutty flavor, the spice is hanging around as well but I am no longer getting leather out of it. So far I am very happy with the flavor profile of this cigar.
Entering the second half of the cigar I am getting small touches of cedar along with the nutty flavor which has turned a bit "sweeter" The spice is still kicking but has taken a back seat to the cedar and nut. This cigar produced a ton of smoke throughout, I enjoy a smoky cigar.
The spice has began to pick up once again and is the dominant flavor I am getting out of this as the final third is upon us. A nice white ash, great flavors and some time to sit back and relax...what else can you ask for?
Onto the nub we go....the spice is still around and kicking as is the sweet nutty flavor...I am thoroughly enjoying the flavors I am picking up in this cigar. Picking up small hints of leather once again but nothing like the initial inch or so of this cigar. It's just about time to end this cigar as I my finger is starting to burn LOL!
This was a fantastic cigar and I am glad Ron gave me the chance to enjoy one. If it was not for the contest I probably would have never smoked this wonderful cigar! I am looking forward to the other Perdomo cigars from the contest....but those are for another day!
Hope you enjoyed and remember sit back, relax and smoke em in good health!
