Intro:

This pack was about $8 on Cigarbid - bought it along with the maduro pack. Before the coronavirus, I became interested in habano wrappers after experiencing, if recall correctly, the Herrera Esteli Habano, Rocky Patel ALR, and maybe the Eiroa Jamastran. Let's see how this pack fares.

Pre-Smoke Judgement:

The FYR will be OK at best, just like the other three PDRs. Only smoking to notice the difference between less-known and low-priced cigars vs. B&M known brands and prices.

1/3:

Light habano flavor. The habano sweetness on the residual - very light at first. A little sweet on the retrohale, with a clean and light tobacco background. It's a chill mode cigar. A little blandish. Mild-plus profile with a soft bite. I love the band color scheme and the color combo between it and the cigar - very aesthetic.

2/3:

Not much change, except I'm in total chill mode now. She's pretty decent for her price. A smidge of spice on a retrohale. The sweet habano residual is masked a little more by a heavier tobacco layer. Not too bad. Still clean and a little...nutty...maybe, like the thick or pastey taste that resides after eatting cashews. She's tunneling, letting me know to pick up the pace. OK, now I'm pissed off, and, my bums, it's not too often I get this way. I'm near the wrapper, and, I'm a wrapper collecting type by the way, so I go to remove her, because she's a new favorite, but she's the type that doesn't come off nicely and she's now trashed. pLet this be a warning to the fellow collectors, my bums. OK, the rant has been heard...and, YES, I'm back to chillin', my bums. Nice smoke with still nice pulls that come fairly effortlessly.

3/3:

After the FYR let me know to hasten my pulls, I begin to pull a little more deep and allow slow exits. A nice spice emerges, which is a little spicy (hot) through the retrohale. The spicyness can intensify if you'd like, by allowing smoke to be gently pushed through the nose, and/or allowing the smoke to rest in the mouth. Very nice. The residual. She's still tunneling again, and I comend her for her non-fragileness. Never had a bitter taste, and am currently one inch from the cap. Keeping her hot by blowing through the cut allows the hobano flavor to escalate noticably. Sweetness almost completely gone on the residual; mostly pastey-nutty now.

Trial By Smoke Judgement:

I was kinda wow'd by the FYR. She a great smoke for her price. I'd consider this a good "yard gar". PDR has enticed me to rethink their brand with this sub $3 cigar. Definitely recommend to all bargain bums and habano fans. I'm stoked to see how the other two in the pack fare.
