Light - Hay, dark chocolate, pepper, woody
1st Third - Some creaminess joins the profile rounded out by notes of dark chocolate, roast coffee, sweet spice, pepper, and an earthy woody backbone mellowing into a long sweet finish. Retrohale is mostly earthy and woody with a little pepper. Medium full body, medium strength.
2nd Third - The pepper settles down and the profile becomes a bit more woody. The retrohale stays about the same but does pick up an interesting salted toffee note. Medium full body, medium strength.
Final Third - Not a lot of change from the 2nd third but whats there is creamy, rich and nicely balanced with a long sweet finish. Medium full body, medium strength.
Overall - Not a cigar with a lot of flavor changes though the profile is still very rich and enjoyable. The aroma also has a floral character thats quite nice. Definitely a cigar worth trying for the lancero/maduro lover and those that like a cigar with good body but not a lot of strength.
