What A Year+ can do (Multiple Reviews)

So I have had this idea since about last year at this time. I bought a ton of average priced 5 packs. Smoke one cigar then, made a few notes and I have tucked away the rest until now. I wan't to smoke them again, make notes. Revist my old notes and post it all for everyone to see. I know 1 year to some is more like resting but flavors in brands such as padron can dissipate(64, 26) and definitely improve (x,000 serie) with just a year. I invite anyone else who has some year old+ sticks to chime in or add your short reviews here if you'd like

    Cool idea, Joel.

It will help others see how sticks change (or not) with just a little downtime.
One game in Utah, Jordan dunked on John Stockton. Jazz owner Larry Miller yelled "pick on someone your own size." On the next possession he dunked on 7'1 center Mel Turpin and shouted "he big enough for you?"

When told that Clyde Drexler was a better three-point shooter than him, Jordan responded "Clyde is a better three-point shooter than I choose to be." Then he hit 6 threes in game 1.

So I chose the Pinolera first for two reasons. The first one I smoked I royally hated. It had a funny harshness to it that really put me off. I usually don't smoke this size but I scored the 5er for $13.00 so it was worth a shot

Construction on these is good. Feels like a very even pack. Can see the seems in a few places. Def. a barnyard smell to it

Getting through the first third, Picking up on a nice pepper/salt sweetness with a little bit of woodyness on the end. So far pleasant medium smoke

Half way point the cigar has stayed pretty consistant. Still flavors mentioned above. Every now and then I get a little bit of a smokyness that I really dig.

After an hour and 20 mins Im officially bored. The cigar has done its job performance wise. The burn has been perfect, no touch ups or relights. The smoke output on a scale of 1-10 is a 4. Not so great there. This cigar just isn't for me. I need atleast one somewhat transition to keep me interested unless Im drunk. I think it would be a great cigar to give someone newer to the hobby as the flavors are very there and easy to pick up on.

Why didn't you get the big one?

    Good review.

Nice review. I'm right there with you on the Pinolero. Probably the one AJF cigar I just don't get. I've tried 2 and they just don't work for me. It feels like they want to be good but just never quite develop into anything that makes me want to keep smoking it. I guess some folks really dig them but I'm not one of them.
We're going to need a bigger humidor
