Montecristo Dark 444 review
Here ya go,
@WNYTONY
, one that's right up your alley lol
Smoked: 5/20
The Montecristo Dark no. 444 is one I'm not all that familiar with. My dad gifted me this one, and he is a regular customer with JR Cigars. Anyway...
It's a nice-looking PC, with some veinage. Wrapper smells of leather, surpising me, since this is supposed to be a mild/medium. Foot gives black pepper and toast. Cold draw is black pepper, spice, and a fruity sweetness.
Ok, this is starting to get intriguing. I am getting no changes at all, 1st to final, taste to aroma. The cigar is purely oak and spice to taste, leather and black pepper to aroma. Only notes are that I corrected a mildly sizable runaway burn in 1st to 2nd, and that on the whole, this little stick is a pleasant medium, not mild/med as billed. I certainly did wish for more from this one, but it was pleasant, one note wonder and all.

Golf Course Bum
Interesting Trent, that size is right in my wheelhouse and I haven't seen it before this.
I was at an event today and got to try an AJ Fernandez Last Call and I picked up a box of those so this will have to wait, but thanks for the addition to my "to try" list.
No cigar until you get a par - birdie if it's a scramble !
