    L'Atelier Travailleurs

    Cigar: L'Atelier Travailleurs
    Size: 4-1/2 x 38
    MSRP: $14.50 / 5 pack ($2.90 ea)
Supplied in 5 pack soft packs.

A short review for a short little cigar.

The L'Atelier Travailleurs are available packaged in a paper wrapped soft pack of five. They are really intended for the traveler or anybody wanting a short abbreviated smoke. The cigars come pre-cut, so truly convenient for someone on the go.

With the initial light I get cedar with pepper on the retrohale. Plenty of white billowing smoke.
The burn starts off a bit wonky, but nothing to be concerned with, just slightly uneven. As the smoke progresses, this soon corrects itself within the first third. Perhaps this is due to un-even lighting to begin with.

The smoke output is generous beginning with a touch of sweetness on each draw. I get flavors of bread, like the doughy middle of a fresh baguette as the bread is pulled out of the middle. With the touch of sweetness, it at times reminds me of honey graham. The finish on the retrohale is filled with black pepper tingling my nose. This carries throughout but begins to subside toward the end.

The total burn time surprises me for such a small cigar at 38 minutes. Though diminutive in size, this brings on the fullness of body and flavor and is quite satisfying. The strength is about medium.

Thanks @Nature , the smaller vitolas are becoming a fave. As the heat, humidity rises, the smoking time decreases. You got me wanting to try them. Nice job!

Based on the 1 of those and the 2 cracker crumbs I've had I think I like this one better. I kept getting cinnamon on the draw, which was new for me and probably why I liked it so much. I need to try another one soon.
I don't have emotions, and sometimes that makes me very sad.

That is pretty much what I was told by one of the Johnson brothers at the recent Tatuaje event I attended, that I would probably like the Travailleurs better. Maybe it was cinnamon I tasted too that contributed to the honey graham flavor it reminded me of. I have some Cracker Crumbs as well, but I haven't tried them yet.

I think it's kind of funny how everyone raves about the cracker crumbs, which don't get me wrong are good. I just think these are better.

Funny - it's the opposite here - it's finally warm so we can smoke the larger cigars up north. These are great in the winter months for me.

I wasn't familiar with this LAT before this review. Makes me want to pick some up next winter. Thanks @Nature !

    Agreed!
I'm leaning more and more to Rothschild and smaller vitolas.

Sigh. Adding one more to the acquisitions list.
