@SweetCigars sent me this one as well.

Here we have a budget Drew Estate cigar. I believe it was their first cigar, and is a short-fill cigar (I think).

The foot had notes of sweet cedar, leather and a hint of hay.

The cold draw had more notes of cedar, and of chocolate.

As always, I used my Xikar ELX's 9mm punch, and off we went!

Immediately I noted the creaminess and easy draw. Early notes were of tobacco, and baking chocolate. There was only a little spice on the retrohale.

I had a wacky burn line almost from the get-go. I had done my second touch-up after only 25 minutes in. I continued to have burn line issues the entire time, which would never correct on their own.

The ash was very flaky, but given that it is supposedly a short filler cigar, that's not very surprising.

As the first 1/3rd ends, some coffee notes come in.

As the second 1/3rd ends, I notice some dryness of the mouth.

Total time: 90 minutes

Additional notes: It wasn't much like the Brick House Maduro that I had, but then again, it is a much less expensive cigar. I did not think it tasted very much like what I thought that a maduro should taste like, but I could see this working very well as an everyday cigar/yard gar/ golf gar/etc.
