    La Faraona Habano (Robusto)

    Initial Puffs:

Somewhere in the caramelized and brown sugar zone. Nice amount pepper that yangs the sweetness.

    1/3:

Semi-dark and rich sugar. Still in that caramelized/brown sugar zone. Probably becomes more of a molasses-y taste as it melds - never (and thankfully) got the worcestershire-ish kinda taste that came with molasses during my flavor wheel exercise; but that sharpness may have been intertwined with the pepper and possibly muted (don’t know).

Also started to think of candied nuts. Especially the scent when you’re near a booth, and that first explosion of taste that comes with the first crunch. So, most likely some kinda nut in there.

Thankfully the pepper paired very nicely with the sugar, and gave a much needed balance. Not very peppery - just the right amount to counter the richness.

Very nice medium-dark roast coffee grounds as the residual.

    Medium+ bodied, and full flavored.

Restrictive draw. I thought it was OK, but the pulls were on the harder side.

    2/3:

The richness fades, and the semi-dark sugar follows into the background, and still nicely rounding out the pepper.

Residual becomes a bit more espresso-heavy-latte-like.

Near the 3/3, I believe there was another transition, but I didn’t fully get it. Maybe a hint of citrus, and I started thinking candied/chocolate orange. Pepper started to turn more into a spice.

Draw may have became a tad more tight. Somewhere near the end of the 2/3 I had to pull out the trusty draw tool and start digging, because the stick’s taste became somewhat bland and it slowly began to turn rough. Pulled out a big yummy lookin booger (pic below). Draw opened up nicely.

    3/3:

Stick ended up turning too rough. Tried everything to stick with it, but it was done. Pretty sure my hard pulls were the culprit, here - another big lesson learned. Tossed near the 1.5 inch mark.

    Judgment:

Awesome stick. Gonna put the ending on operator error - excessive pulls; should broke out the draw tool earlier; thought the draw was OK, as I like the draw more on the tighter side rather than open side. Very nice value with this stick - website said $6/single, and I’m thinking a fiver would be great in the tuppie. Recommended.

    Tobacco Booger:

Threw it in my mouth for a chew after tossing the stick. Really enjoyed it. Got a combo of fire-cured, baker’s chocolate, espresso ground, and tasty tobacco. It made up for the stick’s ending!

Nice pick and awesome Bomb addition. Sorry about the ending, but I’ll definitely be back to this stick in the future. Looking forward to the Maduro. Thanks again, Jerry!

Sounds like you liked it, so I am glad for that. Construction on ones I have had were good but that "booger " may have been the culprit. Nice review
