So, just giving this thing a good sniff before lighting, it has nice notes of tobacco and barnyard - very promising. Fire it up, notch the head, and off we go! It's pretty complex right from the start - earthy and a little bit sweet. That was pretty much the story for 2 1/2 hours. Earthy, sweet, warm flavors with lots of smoke, medium-strong, I would say. Burn was really nice, and all in all it needed less babying than a lot of lanceros to stay lit without overheating. Great choice for an introduction to a marca I haven't tried before!
I was going to say that somewhere around the 11/43 mark there was a burst of spice, but that would be a lie ...
