True Derelict
La Antiguedad toro gordo review
Smoked 5/14
This one feels light in hand, especially considering the vitola. It is somewhat rustic looking, with prominent veins. The wrapper smells of straw, earth and aa spicy note. The foot gives tobacco and light red pepper. Cold draw is strong baking spice, red pepper, tobacco and earth.
First, second and final thirds were identical through and through. Tastes were rich, redolent of baking spice, nuts and cinnamon. Aromas were consistent, spice and a note that kept shifting between cedar and hickory.
The only drawbacks were size related. I made multiple corrections to the burn line, as well as pushing to. The brink of harshness to keep a steady draw. I will have to try this again, in a more manageable vitola.

I did a review on this myself and found pretty much what you did. Advice to those who want to smoke this cigar is to let it rest for at least 6 months as that 'red pepper' tends to overpower the cigar. It needs rest...badly.
