Appearance is mildly toothy, well constructed with few veins/seams. Wrapper smells of barnyard and a pleasant dried fruit. Foot gives strong black pepper, with tobacco and light earth. Cold draw is classic for AJ Fernandez, heavy black pepper, earth, tobacco and a dark, bitter coffee.
First third - tastes are lotsa black pepper, spice and a hint of dried fruit. Bugger if I can identify the fruit. Aromas of dried fruit, hickory and charcoal.
Second - true to the first, and deliciously so.
Final third, all the same. The fruit note MAY be apricot. This was a finger burning nubber. Not a bit disappointed in the lack of changes in this one .
