Ezra Zion Tantrum
This was my first EZ cigar, and the first thing that popped in my mind was "unique". It has a complex taste that separates itself, or that may signaturize the brand.
There's a pepper that doesn't blast like most, but burns noticeably and smoothly on the nose. Along with it, but orally, a jalapeno pepper-like sensation bites.
Full strength, body and flavor.
LOTs of body. Almost, and probably, too much for this little feller. Gotta sip on this one. Light sips allow you to better taste the meld, though it can still be very powerful.
LOTs of flavor. The review on the EZ store sums it up nicely. I remember dark caramel and spiced cookie spices - especially in the beginning.
Nice burn and no issues noticed with construction.
The EZ site says this vitola's smoke time is similar to a toro - and it is true. Smoke time was well over an hour.
Judgement:
Overall it was a great smoke - much better than an average, though not close to excellence. Had the melding or balance been more on-point, it would've been excellent. Price-wise for an MSRP of $10, it's hard for me to justify, though I would definitely buy another single to revisit and compare, but would also be interested in trying the Tantrum Passive Aggressive, which is supposed to be a slight tone-down and longer Tantrum. Recommended.

Thanks for the smoke, Santa! 20201225_051752.jpg20201225_055513.jpg20201225_062251.jpg

Love a lot of the Ezra Zion line. The All My Exes Lanceros are the best IMO, Nice review as always.
