1st Third - The mata fina character is really the central point of the profile. Woody, pepper, floral, cocoa, smokey, slight bitterness. Retrohale is peppery and woody. Medium-full body, full strength.
2nd Third - The pepper mellows down a little and the cocoa ramps up a little joined by a roast coffee note. Retrohale is all pepper and a lot of it. Medium-full body, full strength.
Final Third - The pepper starts to pick back up again joined by a little creaminess but otherwise the profile remains the same, which I must say is no complaint. Retrohale is pepper and wood. Medium-full body, full strength.
Overall - A very aromatic cigar with a lot of complexity revolving around the character of the mata fina. Not easy to obtain but worth the hunt for any LP fan.
