True Derelict
Diesel Wicked review
Smoked 5/8 evening
First, I apologize for the backwards posting. My Rage review was done on voice recorder, so isn't transcribed yet.
Appearance is well built, solid feeling, smooth to touch, with some veinage. Off note is the fact that, once the sizable footband is removed, there is 1/16-1/8" of exposed binder. The wrapper appears too short.
Wrapper smells of strong barnyard and a fruity raisin/licorice note. Foot gives heavy black pepper and light tobacco notes. Cold draw is deep earth and light tobacco.
First third starts with a pleasant charcoal aroma, and tastes of smoky and earth, an intriguing combo. There is shortly into first, a minor touch up to the burn.
Second third, and What. The. Heck. No changes, and I am chasing a runaway burn.
Final third, well , screw this. No changes. Wicked described the disposition off the burn line, and that is all. I've had this a year almost, and it behaves like ROTT. Very disappointed in the stick.
