Diesel Unlimited Review
1/12/2015
Cigar: Diesel Unlimited
Size: Toro, 6.0”x54
MSRP: $9.90
Strength: Full
Wrapper: Honduran Ligero
Origin: Nicaragua
Prelight: This is an odd-ball size of the Diesel Unlimited, offered only in CIs Choice Cuts Sampler. The appearance of this cigar is beautiful. The wrapper is smooth, the shape is uniform, and even the band is tasteful. The milk chocolate colored wrapper has very slight veins and a slightly pungent floral aroma to it. The foot is well packed and cut cleanly, allowing the cigar to stand upright, and has a woody cocoa scent. The cold draw is near perfect and tastes very woody with a bit of a hay-like flavor as well.
1/3: I immediately notice a nice amount of smoke output from the cigar, and I am picking up flavors of pepper, oak, and cream. Quickly, the pepper fades as the oak increases and is soon paired with a sweet leather taste. The ash is bright white, flakey, and lasts about 1 ½” before dropping.
2/3: The second third sees a flavors transition into an earthy, leathery, oaky profile, with the leather coming and going frequently. I keep getting little fingers of unburnt wrapper dangling past the otherwise straight burn line, but they always catch eventually, requiring no touch-ups.
3/3: The final third maintains an earthy oak flavor. This transitions into mostly wood as I near the nub, and at the end I taste only charred wood.
Overall: A very nice option from Diesel. I really enjoyed the balance of sweet and savory. The burn wasn’t perfect, but didn’t require any added focus from me, so it’s passable. I’d say that this is a solid cigar that is not overly complex, but is pleasant enough to be more than just a yard ‘gar.
To smoke is human; to smoke cigars, divine.

The G.O.A.T.
Great review a usual, Layne.
Thanks.
One game in Utah, Jordan dunked on John Stockton. Jazz owner Larry Miller yelled "pick on someone your own size." On the next possession he dunked on 7'1 center Mel Turpin and shouted "he big enough for you?"
When told that Clyde Drexler was a better three-point shooter than him, Jordan responded "Clyde is a better three-point shooter than I choose to be." Then he hit 6 threes in game 1.
