Diesel Unlimited Maduro D.4 review
Smoked 5/4, paired with Kum & Go Brazilian Gold coffee
Appearance is rustic, quite veiny, with slight tooth. There are multiple nicks to the wrapper, poor thing. It smells of cocoa and barnyard, foot smells of pepper and earthiness. Cold draw is heavy on earth, with tobacco and a light coffee note.
1st third) After going 2wks without, this is heavenly! It's an intoxicating melange, tasting of smokiness, dark chocolate and coffee notes, almost a smoky French roast. The aromas are leather, cocoa and that blessed salty note I love. Wait, there's no Dominican leaf in this, is there? I thought that salty treat was Dominican Olor.
2nd third) Absolutely delicious! Tastes are the same, just a tad "deeper". Smells, same, with that salty note hitting stride.
Final third) Dark chocolate mellows to sweet cocoa, with a creamy texture making a great finish. Aromas are blessedly unchanged.
I cant believe I left this goodness waiting for me. Screw Cox, I'm not abstaining anymore!
