So here we are on a beautiful day with Veeral and Dav0, after a bit of convincing they let me break it up and share it with them!
The cigar comes with two beautiful yellow bands and not a single construction flaw on the wrapper. It is gorgeous and what one would expect from a Culebra of this price.
A few puffs into the cigar and I am very happy I did not try to tackle this cigar alone....I am getting a good deal of spice and pepper flavors from it. The burn so far is just about perfect and the spice is kicking!
As we work our way through the first third the spice mellows out and takes a backseat to a nice cedar flavor...much more mellow than the initial few puffs and it is quickly becoming a very good cigar.
Into the second third we go and the spice is completely gone at this point. It is burning very smooth and the wood flavors are still dominant through the second third. There is a slight creaminess to the cigar at this point, a very pleasant surprise.
Entering the last third of the cigar...the good times are rolling and we are having a blast at the Mini NJ Herf! This little sucker produces a ton of smoke, from beginning to end!
Entering the final third of the cigar the woody flavors are still dominant...after the initial inch or so this cigar was very smooth and extremely enjoyable...by far my favorite Culebra so far, especially in terms of construction.
Now comes the fun part....who can smoke it down the furthest...who will win? Veeral? Dav0? Ray? Well let's just say I was a VERY distant third in this contest.
So in ending...if you have two great friends to share this cigar with...go get one. It was very fun smoking and we all had a great time.
Sit back, relax and enjoy a nice cigar in good health!
