Pre Light - Cedar, barnyard
Cold Draw - Oaky, barnyard, cedar. Slightly tight draw.
Appearance - Slightly oily, few noticeable veins, some tooth, nearly seamless, light milk chocolate color.
Light - Earthy, peppery, meaty with a cedar backbone.
1st Third - Pepper, cedar, oak, cocoa, coffee with a earthy barnyard finish. Retrohale is pepper and oak with a little sweetness. Med-full body and medium strength. Resting smoke smells like leather and barnyard.
2nd Third - Profile starts to smooth out and sweeten up. Creamy mocha with a touch of pepper and cedar and the same earthy barnyard notes in the finish. Retrohale is now really grassy and earthy with a bit of cedar. Almost like the smell after it rains. Med-full body and medium strength.
Final Third - Moving into the final third you can feel the strength picking up and bringing some pepper with it. The profile otherwise hasn't changed much but its very well balanced. Retrohale finishes off earthy, peppery, and chocolatey. Med-full body and strength.
Construction - Draw had just the right resistance. Great smoke production, nice even burn, no relights, and sturdy ash.
Overall - A very earthy cigar and a real treat. Anyone that has any of these left is a lucky dog. I suggest lighting one up as these are smoking amazing right now!
