Pre Light - Hay, some leather, earthy tobacco
Cold Draw - Earthy, spicy
Appearance - Golden brown, nearly seamless, some noticeable veins, smooth with little to no oil.
Light - Sweet spice, cedar, little pepper
1st Third - Sweet spice, cedar, toasty, little pepper and some cream notes. Occasional hint of coffee in the finish. Fairly tannic and dry. Retrohale is peppery and woody. Medium body and strength.
2nd Third - The profile starts to sweeten up with the addition of a syrupy sweet tobacco note and some more creaminess. The finish is sort of honey and graham cracker like. The retrohale smooths out a little letting in some sweet spice. Medium body and strength.
Final Third - The flavors don't change much here other than becoming a bit more savory. Very nice balance. Retrohale is still pepper and sweet spice. Medium body and strength.
Construction - Effortless draw, great smoke production, even burn.
Overall - A very nuanced cigar. There was a lot of different flavors coming and going making for a very entertaining smoke.
