Crowned Heads La Coalicion (Corona Gorda & Gordito)
Both are kinda mesquite-y and this is the main one-note flavor , throughout.
Not really dry, nor flat. Maybe slightly oily wood.
Close to full bodied. Solid mediumish flavor. Pretty good strength.
Maybe chalky.
There's a clean smoothness to it.
There's a some kinda slight fruit juice that fades away.
Lots of smoke output.
Some of the main differences between the two:
Corona Gorda

-Jalapeno-like burn in mouth throughout was nice.
-Pretty interesting initial puffs.
Gordito

-Believe the hint of juice lasts a bit longer.
-No jalapeno burn.
-Less interesting initial puffs.
-Thoughts of some taste similarities to the Padron Londres Maduro.
Judgement:
Both were good, and I prefer the Corona Gorda. Both didn't really do it for me, and this line is at the bottom of my CH ranking. Price is still steep when a healthy discount is thrown in; but without one - it's way too steep for what it delivers. Construction and a long burn time (2 hours for the Gordito) are somewhat of a saving grace. Won't return anytime soon, nor do I want to check-out the larger vitolas. I'd recommend one or two; maybe a fiver, tops.

Disregard the above for now.
